Psychology Coverage Enhancement
With an increased focus on mental health globally, we’ve expanded our list of eligible mental health providers. The new providers will be part of our standard mental health coverage.
What's Changing
Today, your Group Employee Benefits plan covers psychologists and social workers. Effective July 1, 2024, psychotherapists and counsellors will also be covered.
This means you are your dependents will be able to see counsellors, therapists and other common mental health providers, in addition to psychologists and social workers. This gives you more options to see different types of mental health professionals to support your well-being.
Our expanded list of mental health providers will include:

Claims can only be reimbursed once the coverage takes effect. You’ll be able to submit claims for reimbursement at mycanadalifeatwork.com.
